To empower First Nation communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources to address housing challenges through culturally appropriate, sustainable solutions, fostering self-reliance and community growth.
MISSION
Waxase Consulting and Training Services is dedicated to providing high-quality housing (training), consulting, and safety training to First Nation communities across Canada. While I primarily focus on working with local communities in the Treaty 6 and Treaty 7/8 regions, I am also available to travel to other locations as needed to support communities. With two decades of industry experience, we aim to bridge the gap in housing management and maintenance while ensuring culturally relevant and effective solutions.
MANDATE
To support First Nation communities by offering specialized training for home occupants, providing advice to housing managers on maintenance and safety, and implementing quality assurance through home assessments (Inspections coming 2025/2026). Waxase is committed to growing the capacity of First Nation-owned businesses to lead housing improvements, fostering sustainable practices that reflect our values, culture, and way of life.
